Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare's Ranworth House in Eastbourne. As a Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.

About the Role
  • You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, providing emotional support, and communicating effectively with residents and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing individualized care and support to residents based on their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encouraging residents to participate in activities and events that promote socialization and engagement.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in resident behavior or health status to relevant healthcare professionals.
What We're Looking For
  • Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, particularly in the field of learning disabilities and autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude, compassion, and resilience.
