Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Worker to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in our Emergency Departments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering delegated clinical procedures, including insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment, and simple dressings. You will also be required to train new staff members and contribute to the development of our ward team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Use your initiative to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and patients
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths
  • Care Certificate
  • Relevant experience of working in Health or Social Care Environment delivering personal care
