About the Role:

Horizon Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Mentor to work in a SEMH specialist setting in Islington. As an SEN Mentor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with SEMH needs, helping them to develop positive relationships and manage their behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working one-to-one with students to develop behaviour management strategies
  • Providing support and guidance to teaching staff on managing challenging behaviour
  • Collaborating with other professionals to develop individualised learning plans

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with students with SEMH needs and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
