Discretionary Financial Support Coordinator

We are recruiting for 3 Full-Time Case Management Specialists to join our Discretionary Financial Support Services Team in Sunderland. This is a fixed-term position lasting 3-5 months on a full-time basis.
About the RoleAs a Case Manager, you will be responsible for processing claims for Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP) and Local Welfare Provision (LWP) applications. You will work closely with clients, landlords, benefits services, and other stakeholders to provide excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Process claims for DHP and LWP applications efficiently and accurately
- Carry out case management across a caseload of new and repeat customers, including managing recalls and providing customer support
- Record data accurately on monitors for management information and statistical reports
- Complete detailed and accurate case management files with relevant information and documents
You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £16.43, paid via an umbrella company. Our team works collaboratively to achieve excellent working relationships with various stakeholders.
