Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Work Assistant to join our Maidstone Children Social Work Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support to children and families, facilitating family time, and promoting healthy relationships and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with children and families to provide support and guidance
- Facilitate family time and promote healthy relationships and communication
- Liaise with Social Workers, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of child and family services and relevant legislation
What We Offer
Kent County Council offers a hybrid working model, with a combination of home and office working. The team covers a large geographical area, and you will be expected to work flexibly across the whole area. We also offer training and development opportunities, as well as regular supervision and support.
