Forensic Social Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Social Worker to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients who require mental health services in a secure environment.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an agreed caseload of complex forensic work, supporting patients to maintain links with their local community and their families where appropriate. The post holder will also liaise closely with community teams and other agencies, and support the Medium Secure Services' own MDT.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have experience working with offenders. Additionally, they will have a good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Health Act 1983, and other related legislation. The post holder will also need to have experience of Adult Safeguarding work and work with people who lack Capacity.
