Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychology Specialist to join our multidisciplinary community forensic team. As a key member of our team, you will provide a forensic psychology service including assessment, intervention, and evaluations focused on rehabilitation in the community.

Main Duties of the Job

1. Provide specialist forensic psychology services to adults with learning disabilities and complex, severe, and enduring mental health difficulties who may display challenging behavior or have offending histories.

2. Undertake high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychology interventions, taking substantial professional responsibility and exercising autonomous judgment in your professional practice.

3. Ensure the clinical effectiveness of your practice and of service functioning by undertaking research and development activities, including training others, relevant to the service area.

4. Provide regular supervision to trainee and assistant psychologists in this specialism.
