About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Forensic Inpatient Social Work Team. As a key member of our team, you will work with individuals who require high levels of support and care.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex forensic cases, working closely with community teams and other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users. You will also assist inpatients to maintain links with their local community and families, where appropriate.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with experience of working with offenders and in secure services. You will have a good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Health Act 1983, and other related legislation. You will also have experience of Adult Safeguarding work and working with people who lack capacity.
