Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-focused care, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Provide and receive routine information to inform work colleagues, patients, and external contacts.
  • Offer support and advice to patients and their carers.
  • Enable patients to maintain and improve their independence through therapeutic activities.
  • Provide physical health care and checks as required, documenting changes and reporting to the nurse/healthcare professional in charge.
  • Undertake day-to-day tasks allocated by the Nurse/healthcare professional in Charge.
