Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Support Worker to join our team at Grafham Water Center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people, or adults with disabilities, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities- Provide community-based support services to children and young people with disabilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to deliver effective support services
- Experience of working with children and young people or adults with a disability
- Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality principles
- Evidence of awareness of oppression and discrimination, and commitment to promoting equality and diversity
- Diploma (or NVQ) in Childcare-related subject or willingness to work towards it
- A competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience
