A Support Assistant is required to join LTF Recruitment Ltd.'s team, working closely with students aged 16-25 who face unique challenges. Main Duties:

  • Foster students' academic, social, and emotional growth by offering tailored support.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other support professionals to create and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Employ evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviours.
  • Help students develop essential life skills and promote self-advocacy.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have prior experience supporting individuals with special educational needs, preferably within an educational context. Your passion for empowering young people and dedication to their development are crucial. While current safeguarding training is beneficial, it's not mandatory. However, having an enhanced child and adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or being willing to obtain one is necessary. We offer a competitive salary range of £95-£105 per year, based on experience, for a long-term opportunity with potential for permanence.
