Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Care Worker to assist us in providing exceptional care and support to young people in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care work, with a focus on supporting children and young people with their education, life skills, and health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a high standard of physical and emotional care to young people, including supporting with education, life skills, and health needs.
- To adopt a strengths-based approach to work with children, young people, colleagues, and outside agencies.
- To ensure that care is delivered within organisational policy and statutory requirements.
- To provide care within an environment that positively integrates race, culture, gender, disability, and sexual orientation.
- To inform managers of significant matters arising in connection with the Home, including areas under the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015.
- A Childrens Workforce Development Diploma Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
- Basic knowledge of the Children Act 1989.
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working with children, young people, or adults with a disability in a relevant setting.
