This leadership role is part of our Middle Office Conversion team at State Street, where we help safeguard and steward the investments of millions of people.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Capital Markets Conversion Manager to lead our conversion activities across various business units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving the deliverables of conversion planning and testing to meet project milestones.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the VP Conversion Manager to scope requirements, engage with clients, and facilitate data extract setup processes.
  • Organizes and supports conversion events, including dry runs, dress rehearsals, and go-live activities, ensuring a smooth transition to BAU (Business as Usual).
  • Collaborates with up to 10-15 individuals located in different time zones to drive project success.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management or related field; plus 7-10 years of relevant financial industry experience.
  • Or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management or related field; plus 3 years of relevant pre- or post-Master's financial industry experience.
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge or experience in Capital markets, including Middle Office, Securities, Bank Loans, IBOR / ABOR, Transaction Management or system knowledge of RKS, CRIMS, Eagle, Eagle Star, PAM, Portia, WSO or other.
  • Excellent Communication Skills to effectively run meetings and collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Intermediate to high-level skill in team management.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Working knowledge of data quality measures across referential, completeness, tolerance, index, and business-driven data qualitative and quantitative measures.
  • Solid ability to proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution.
  • Experience owning initiatives/projects related to Middle Office Client Onboarding.
  • Proven intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access skills, as well as Microsoft Project, JIRA or other project management software experience.
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehouses and Databases, including SQL.
