At ZipRecruiter, we're seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Syracuse, NY. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide first-level technical support to end-users through various channels such as phone, email/ticketing system, and in-person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User and Field Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users through various channels such as phone, email/ticketing system, and in-person.
  • Software Installation: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and systems.
  • Hardware Support: Provide basic hardware support, including setting up workstations, troubleshooting hardware failures, and coordinating repairs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft desktops and server platforms, Microsoft Office Suites, Office 365 environments, backup and endpoint protection, line of business applications, network routing, switching, firewall, and various network protocols.
  • Customer-Centric: A focus on customer satisfaction and providing outstanding service.
