Financial Controller

Pemberton Park & Leisure Homes Limited, a well-established manufacturer with a rich history dating back to the 1940s, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team at the Company Head Office in Wigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 2 finance professionals.
- Prepare and present monthly Management Accounts.
- Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage account reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain budget and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee the production of Homes BOM Costings and Stock valuation & control.
- Manage the Purchase ledger and sales ledger.
- Implement effective credit control processes.
- Ensure timely submissions to HMRC for PAYE, VAT, and Pensions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
- Contribute to the Management Team on company-wide challenges and issues.
Person Specification:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute at a senior level.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under changing priorities.
- Demonstrated project management experience with successful project completion.

Key Skills Required:
- Ability to work to strict reporting deadlines with good time-management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- 10+ years of combined Accounting and Financial Management experience in a commercial environment.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
