Exciting Opportunity for a Management Accountant at Pemberton Park & Leisure Homes Limited

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Pemberton Park & Leisure Homes Limited. As a key member of our Management Team, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for leading our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the Finance team to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Produce high-quality monthly Management Accounts and ensure timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, account reconciliations, and budget and cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage the Purchase ledger and sales ledger, as well as the credit control function.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations for PAYE, VAT, and Pensions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to the Management Team on company-wide challenges and issues.
Person Specification:
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with senior management and provide guidance and mentoring to staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under frequent changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with a track record of successful project completion.
Key Skills Required:
  • Ability to work to strict reporting deadlines with good time-management and organisational skills.
  • Good accounting software user skills and Microsoft Excel.
  • 10+ years of combined Accounting and Financial Management experience in a commercial environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
