About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit work for the benefit of the public interest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a major point of contact within the firm, working closely with the Partner to deliver audit services to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at senior levels, providing commercial advice and identifying business opportunities.
  • Recruit, retain, develop, and motivate employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional audit services.
  • Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales, identifying opportunities for additional billings.
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Previous experience of managing people and delivering audit services.
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Experience of systems and controls testing, substantive auditing, and project management.
