About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our Charity Audit team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits of charitable organizations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits of charitable organizations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, including new audit engagements and revenue growth
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team members, ensuring their growth and success
  • Manage assignments within agreed budgets and timescales, identifying opportunities for additional billings
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent
  • Previous experience of managing people and leading audits
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation, and compliance
  • Experience of systems and controls testing, substantive auditing, and project management
