About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Charity Sector team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits of charitable organizations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits of charitable organizations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the delivery of audits that meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams within BDO UK, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive business growth.

Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in audit and assurance, preferably in the charity sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and build relationships with clients.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including charity law and governance.
