About the Job Description

As a Data Centre Operations Engineer at BladeRoom Data Centres, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres. Your responsibilities will include carrying out regular BMS PPM tasks, coordinating subcontractor resources, and identifying and solving software and hardware issues.

You will be required to monitor control system issues through to resolution within agreed timeframes and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. Additionally, you will provide prompt, accurate, and clear feedback and reporting to clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular BMS PPM tasks on client sites.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractor resource.
  • Identify and solve software and hardware issues.
  • Monitor control system issues through to resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams.
  • Provide feedback and reporting to clients.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on technical issues.
  • Prioritise urgent matters and ensure follow-up with clients.

Person Specification:

  • Proven work experience as a BMS Engineer.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience with Tridium AX & N4.
  • Knowledge of BMS facility management software.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
