Commissioning Editor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Editor to join our team at Inspired Selection. As a Commissioning Editor, you will play a key role in developing our Schools publishing portfolio, working on prestigious teaching and learning materials for International Schools around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission and publish high-quality print and digital learning materials to meet market needs.
  • Manage complex projects with fixed budgets and deadlines.
  • Coordinate teams of authors, educational consultants, freelance project managers, editors, designers, and illustrators.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with international colleagues, clients, and officials.
  • Build and expand a network of professional contacts.
  • Create and maintain schedules.
  • Content edit and copy edit learning materials.
Requirements:
  • Experience in educational publishing, with a proven track record of developing digital and print products.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Ability to build and manage successful relationships with colleagues, clients, and officials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
