About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Special Needs Support Professional to join our team at a primary school in Belgravia, London. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other professionals to provide one-to-one or small group support to children with special educational needs (SEN) within the Early Years setting.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, focusing on their unique needs and abilities">
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and implement differentiated activities that cater to the diverse learning styles of SEN students">
  • Support students with personal care, communication, and social interaction as required">
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported">
  • Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably within an Early Years setting">
  • A caring and empathetic nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and their families">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team">
  • A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students">
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting children with SEN would be advantageous">
