Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. This role is based at a SEND school in Westminster, catering to children and young adults aged 5-18 with a range of SEND needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 or group support to pupils, assisting with both their learning and care needs during school hours. While experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred, training will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children or young adults in an educational setting
  • Willingness to assist with personal care when needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff and support students
  • A valid DBS registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
