Community Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant

The role of a Band 3 Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant is to provide assessment and rehabilitation within the community setting for adults who have had a stroke. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to deliver a seamless stroke service from acute hospitals into the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Support with the provision of treatment programmes for community stroke patients
* Order and provision of equipment as directed by qualified therapists
* Assist with duties including booking appointments, data collection, and ordering supplies
* Work in a team and independently with flexibility, enthusiasm, and good time management skills required
About the Role
This is a community-based role requiring a car driver with business use insurance. The post holder needs to be flexible, enthusiastic, and confident in using IT systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the general public and using MS Office applications.
