Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work on a casual/on-call basis at our 20-bed short-term transitional unit in Scarborough. This unit collaborates with local hospitals to assist patients in transitioning back to their homes or communities, primarily handling medical and orthopaedic cases.

As an OTA/PTA, you will administer programs developed by the OT/PT for individual clients, such as exercise programs, feeding or dressing programs, and assistive device training. You will promote the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of clients and families.

  • Please note that previous experience in a Rehabilitation/Complex Continuing Care or Acute Care Hospital is preferred, but not required.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
