About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical expertise and leadership skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive pharmaceutical service across various rotations, including critical care, paediatrics, surgery, and medical specialties.
  • Work closely with the medical team to optimise medication regimens, educate patients on medications, and conduct audits to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance strategies to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Support junior or trainee pharmacists in their professional development and provide guidance on clinical practice.
  • Contribute to the development of trust guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification - General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
  • Certificate in clinical pharmacy (at least 12 months complete and working towards 18 months).
  • Post-registration UK hospital experience (minimum 18 months).
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Good organisational skills, self and others.
  • Ability to motivate self and others.
