Teaching Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in England.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide critical support to children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

About the Job:

  • Support children with special needs in a primary school setting.
  • Develop relationships with children and parents to facilitate communication and partnership.
  • Implement educational activities and work programmes to promote independent learning.
  • Promote acceptance and inclusion of children with special needs.
  • Promote self-esteem and encourage children to maximise their achievement and development.

Requirements:

  • NVQ3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Three years' experience as a Teaching and Learning Assistant.
  • Knowledge of education practices and procedures.
  • Able to work towards specific goals with children and colleagues.
  • Able to maintain good relationships with children and adults.
