Nurse Leader in Learning Disability Care

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Nurse to join our Specialist Community Learning Disability Service in Sheffield. As a key member of the Clinical Leadership Team, you will be responsible for implementing the agreed clinical model for the learning disability service and supporting the professional leadership of nurses within their service line.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster good inter-team/inter-agency working relationships. You will also be able to demonstrate initiative and be proactive in your approach to work.
A major part of your role will involve direct line management and professional supervision of nurses within the community team, as well as providing specialist nursing advice in the field of learning disabilities.
As a member of our team, you will have access to opportunities for professional development and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to our service users.
Person Specification**
- Essential:
- Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or RNMH with significant experience in Learning Disability
- Professional knowledge acquired through a master's degree or supplemented by specialist training or equivalent experience to master level
- Recognised clinical teaching qualification or equivalent clinical mentoring and teaching experience
- Desirable:
- Non Medical Prescriber NMP
