Head Nurse Lead

As a Senior Nurse Practitioner in our Neuro Rehab unit (NRU) at QEUH, you will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring a continuum of service delivery. You must have excellent communication skills, with nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The shift pattern for this position is rotational days and nights, 11.5 hours, Monday to Sunday. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly driven, motivated, and dedicated individual to join our team.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and significant post-registration experience at band 5 level. You should have evidence of team working skills, the ability to work using your own initiative, and knowledge around quality improvement.
To undertake this role, you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, effective listening, interpersonal skills, and time management skills. You will be instrumental in ensuring safe, effective, person-centred care while supporting the senior charge nurse and deputizing in their absence.
The estimated salary for this position is £30-£40 per hour, depending on experience. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde encourages applications from all sections of the community.
