    The Marketing & Sales Enablement Manager, based in London, will drive strategic marketing and sales enablement initiatives for specific Investor Services products, services, and segments globally.

    This role requires close collaboration with business teams to validate and articulate key messages to market, value propositions, and differentiators. You will create and execute multi-channel marketing plans to deliver that messaging in an effective and differentiated way.

    The Marketing & Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for advising on and monitoring marketing budget spend for their campaigns and working with the Marketing Operations teams to establish metrics to evaluate ROI and use the results to drive continuous improvement.

    This is a highly strategic role, requiring strong proactivity, initiative, creativity, and accountability. You should have over 8 years' experience running B2B marketing and communications strategies and a strong understanding of the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain a targeted, insight-led marketing strategy and budget, together with key business stakeholders, and monitor and adjust as appropriate throughout the year.
  • Draft and maintain product level internal and external messaging and talking points to arm client facing individuals.
  • Deliver new ideas and thinking to the business, constantly driving innovative and creative strategies and tactics from marketing, demonstrating how efforts can help meet both business and brand objectives.
  • Create and continuously enhance sales/marketing collateral and tools for Sales, Relationship Managers, and Product teams to educate clients and prospects on our capabilities.
  • Facilitate new product launches, coordinating with product experts to identify message points and fit within broader BBH product suite, and create materials as appropriate.
  • Identify industry or product-specific conference and events that will serve as key channels for our spokespeople and messages, working closely with the Global Conferences and Events Manager.
  • Help create a content program in partnership with the centralized content/thought leadership discipline. Work with select subject matter experts to publish a calendar of timely and relevant articles, whitepapers, videos, infographics, and blog posts to position BBH as a thought leader and drive our key campaign messages to market.
  • Contribute to the PR strategy, assisting with interview prep and press releases for new products in conjunction with the Global PR Manager.

Sales Enablement:

  • Participate in new business marketing support – either with key pitches or deal teams - for key client and prospects with Sales, Relationship Managers, and Product areas, which can include:
  • Influencing and assisting the deal team build the pitch story and articulate client benefits and how BBH sets ourselves apart from the competition.
  • Bringing the story and key differentiators to life with visuals / customized sales tools, for both in-person and virtual pitches.
  • Creating memorable pitches – ensuring we are most effectively delivering our value proposition and demonstrating how we are different.
  • Managing the full process of idea generating, story development, content creation, and final delivery of materials to the pitch team for presentation / submission.
  • Coordinating directly with other marketing managers, subject matter experts, sales, and product contacts in the development of customized sales collateral.
  • Providing ongoing maintenance of sales presentations and other marketing collateral such as brochures, product sheets, etc.

Compliance:

  • Work with Global Marketing core areas and Compliance to ensure a coordinated approach to approval of all external marketing and sales materials.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s):

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing field or equivalent qualification required.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a B2B strategic marketing role is an essential requirement, with a proven track record of executing multi-channel marketing programs and measuring outcomes.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the global asset management and/or asset servicing industry and/or institutional banking is required.
  • Experience of working within global and matrixed team structures is also important.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders to influence thinking and drive consensus, and to thrive in a highly collaborative, global team.
  • Highly effective service and relationship management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage own workload and troubleshoot problems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required, particularly in PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce, Seismic, Marketo, and (or comparable work management platforms) would be an advantage.
  • Experience of account-based marketing or deal-based marketing programs would be an advantage.
