Job Summary:

MGB Accountants, a dynamic and growing accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team as a Client Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a key role in our company and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their accounting needs are met.
  • Prepare and submit compliance tasks, including accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, using industry-leading software such as Iris.
  • Undertake book-keeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for clients, utilizing a range of accounting packages including Sage, Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing day-to-day queries and supporting the director on more complex tax or planning tasks.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including Xero, Sage, and Iris.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Able to work independently, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
