About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team as a Client Manager. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial guidance and support to ensure their financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing regular financial updates and advice.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
  • Undertake book-keeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for clients using various accounting software packages.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with the director to provide complex tax and planning services to clients.

Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software packages, including Xero, Sage, and Iris.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Able to work independently to tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Working Arrangements

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week. Our offices are located in Thornbury, Wotton-under-Edge, or Westbury-on-Trym, and we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to suit the successful candidate.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40-50k per annum, plus bi-annual bonuses based on company performance.
