Sales and Marketing Director

Overall Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to drive business growth and lead our national sales and marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our sales and marketing strategy, delivering on budget, and building brand awareness and loyalty.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing management, excellent management and mentoring skills, and the ability to bring new ideas and perspectives to the role.
- Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.
- Deliver on the sales and marketing budget and ensure effective use of resources.
- Build and maintain excellent business relationships with key customers and suppliers.
- Work closely with the MD and senior managers to develop and implement business strategy.
- Present performance and results to senior management team on a regular basis.
- Capitalise on market opportunities and identify new sales channels.
- Ensure the company has an effective sales and marketing training program.
- Proactive market research and prospecting.
- Strong commercial understanding and brand building awareness is critical.
Location
The company is based in Kidderminster, and the successful candidate will be based at the office with occasional travel abroad to attend meetings and conferences.
