About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Work Specialist to join our team as a Community Mental Health Professional. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

As a key member of our community mental health team, you will be responsible for working with individuals who have co-existing mental health and substance misuse problems. You will work closely with other services, including crisis teams, community mental health services, and criminal justice staff, to provide integrated support and care.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in both community mental health teams and drug and alcohol services. You will also need to be registered with Social Work England and hold Approved Mental Health Professional status.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication and joint working processes between mental health and substance misuse services.
  • Lead on raising awareness and promoting better understanding amongst staff and partners of the issues and risks associated with co-existing problems.
  • Implement and maintain processes that promote consistent attendance at key partnership and local meetings.
  • Collect data on activity, demographics, and outcomes, analyze trends, and implement changes as required.
About Our Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary range of £42,305 - £62,346 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a market supplement and additional allowances.
