About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Substance Misuse Intervention Specialist to join our team at Open Road Visions. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to make a positive impact on people's lives by providing support and guidance to those struggling with addiction.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will work closely with General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Pain Management Clinics to develop effective interventions for individuals struggling with prescribed medication addiction. The role involves planning daily and weekly diaries, making referrals, and drafting reports to measure patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily and weekly tasks to achieve project objectives
- Making timely referrals to relevant services and professionals
- Drafting regular progress reports to track patient outcomes
- Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in physical healthcare and/or substance misuse settings
- Training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing
- Able to drive and have access to a car
