Job Description:

This Substance Misuse Expert role at the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust focuses on providing non-medical prescribing services for substance misusing clients, including controlled drug and medical withdrawal from alcohol prescribing.

Duties:
  • To accurately assess client needs, identifying key factors influencing treatment outcomes.
  • To develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with clients, service colleagues, and other agencies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in substance misuse treatment and non-medical prescribing.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to client treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing substance misuse treatment.
