About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Analyst to join our Insurance and Money Services team at Tesco Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient and controlled Procure to Pay (P2P) process to ensure supplier payments are made within contracted timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the procure to pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, and working with the business to ensure processes are followed and costs are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
  • Support the month end close process, including journal posting and reconciliations.
  • Review key metrics and information, and perform root cause analysis when required.
  • Work as part of a team to support Financial Control colleagues with other IMS activities, including Accounts Receivable, Intercompany, and Treasury processes as required.
  • Maintain the control environment, ensuring risks are identified and appropriate controls are operating effectively.

Requirements

  • Understanding of financial processes and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across a Finance function.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
