About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Financial Resilience Department at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us to identify and mitigate risks across our regulated firm population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex data pipelines using Python and SQL for data ingestion and manipulation
  • Apply analytical tools and techniques for exploratory data analysis and statistical modelling
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and actionable solutions
  • Communicate and present solutions in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders
  • Coach and develop other associates across the Financial Resilience Department to provide oversight and support on data initiatives

Requirements
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, translating complex business needs into technical specifications and actionable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to keep abreast of new developments and effectively implement and integrate key ideas and methodologies into work processes and outcomes
