Chemistry Laboratory Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Laboratory Operations Manager to lead our laboratory operations, manage laboratory staff, and ensure compliance with current and future legislation. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in paints and coatings, water-based technologies, and several years of industrial experience.
About the Company:
Our client is an independent coatings manufacturer supplying a wide range of decorative paints and coatings. They are looking for a talented individual to manage their laboratory workload in line with customer demands and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory workload in line with customer demands and business priorities.
- Manage laboratory staff, including training and support.
- Conduct practical laboratory work as required.
- Evaluate products for compliance with current and future legislation.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards and keep the laboratory clean and tidy.
- Technical degree qualification with experience of paints and coatings, water-based technologies.
- Degree level qualification with several years' industrial experience.
- Experience in formulating coatings products and testing.
- Competitive salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
