Teaching Assistant - SEN Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a friendly and inclusive primary school in a lovely location. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Support children with SEN to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals
  • Act as a role model and promote positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities
  • Provide detailed feedback to teachers on pupil progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • SEN experience and knowledge
  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
