Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with mild to severe learning difficulties in a Primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in providing a learning experience for students
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Meet the individual needs of students through a practical approach
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ensure the safeguarding of students
  • Attend staff meetings and complete relevant CPD

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check (where applicable)

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:00pm, PAYE, term time only

Salary: From £85 per day
