Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a special school for secondary pupils with learning and additional needs.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide support to pupils in the classroom and during activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to pupils with learning and additional needs
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation
- Help to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with their personal care and well-being
Requirements
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience working with children with learning and additional needs
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
