Fault Studies Team Lead - Advanced Nuclear Power

Holtec Britain is seeking a highly skilled Fault Studies Team Lead - Advanced Nuclear Power to join our team based in Bristol. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of fault studies, severe accidents, and internal/external hazards safety case documentation.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with a global leader in designing an unconditionally safe and secure source of clean energy. With a salary range of $100,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, you will be able to develop your skills in fault studies, hazard assessments, and thermal hydraulic behaviour of nuclear reactors.

You will provide line management, coaching, and mentoring to develop technical and personal skills within the team. Additionally, you will interact with regulators, explaining analytical methods and models for fault studies and hazard assessments.

  • Estimated salary: $140,000 per annum
  • Required skills and qualifications:
    • Proficiency in fault studies, hazard assessments, and thermal hydraulic behaviour of nuclear reactors.
    • Experience in developing nuclear safety cases and managing technical teams.
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
