Fault Studies Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fault Studies Specialist to join our dynamic team at the forefront of nuclear energy innovation.
Holtec Britain, a leading player in the global nuclear energy sector, is advancing its Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme with funding from the FNEF. As part of this initiative, we are building a new team based in Bristol and require an experienced professional to contribute to the development of fault studies for the Holtec SMR-300+.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering assessments of power plant systems and the ability to provide coaching and mentoring to enhance team and individual technical skills.
About You
- You will hold a relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- You will have a proven track record of conducting electrical engineering assessments and providing expert advice on power plant systems.
- You will be proficient in presenting complex technical information to internal and external stakeholders, including nuclear regulators.
- You will be comfortable working as part of a project-driven engineering team and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, flexible working hours and opportunities for career development.
