Role Overview

Holtec Britain is a pioneering company in designing safe and secure sources of clean energy. We are seeking an experienced Deterministic Safety Analysis Team Lead to join our team based in Bristol.

The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers in producing fault studies and safety case documentation crucial for the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) of the SMR-300 reactor, contributing to the global advancement of clean energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of Fault Studies, Severe Accidents, and Internal/External Hazards safety case documentation.
  • Provide line management, coaching, and mentoring to develop technical and personal skills within the team.
  • Interact with regulators, explaining analytical methods and models for fault studies and hazard assessments.
About the Role

We estimate a salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, to lead this dynamic team. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation nuclear power technology with a global leader.
