Clinical Lead for Paediatric Persistent Pain Service

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated allied health professional to lead our paediatric persistent pain service. As a clinical lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a value-based model of care that supports children and young people with persistent pain and their families across Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team developing and delivering a persistent pain service that supports children and young people across Wales.
- Lead a dynamic multi-professional team that includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and clinical nurse specialists, providing education and support across Wales.
- Work closely with the lead clinical psychologist and consultant to develop and implement a clinical model based on the Cardiff and Vale Rehabilitation Model.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways for the treatment of persistent pain in children and young people.
- Collaborate with peers across Wales to enhance the offer and develop new services.
- Degree or equivalent in a therapy profession.
- HCPC registration.
- Relevant CPD.
- MSc or relevant higher-level qualification.
- Significant post-reg experience at a senior level in a therapy profession.
- Providing clinical supervision.
- Leading a clinical team.
- Participation in planning and developing services.
- Presentation to a wide range of audiences.
- Involvement in change management.
- Published work.
- Research methodology.
- IMT.
- Analysis of statistical information.
