Job Title: Clinical Lead for Paediatric Persistent Pain Service

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading our paediatric persistent pain service, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver a value-based model of care for children and young people with persistent pain and their families.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team developing and delivering a persistent pain service that supports children and young people across Wales.
  • Work closely with the lead clinical psychologist and consultant to lead a dynamic multi-professional team that will include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and clinical nurse specialists.
  • Develop and implement a value-based model of care for children and young people with persistent pain and their families.
  • Collaborate with professional leads to provide AHP leadership across the rheumatology services.
Requirements:
  • Degree/equivalent in therapy profession.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Significant post-reg experience at a senior level in a therapy profession.
  • Providing clinical supervision.
  • Leading a clinical team.
  • Participation in planning/developing services.
  • Presentation to a wide range of audiences.
  • Involvement in change management.
  • Published work.
