Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Cardiology CNS to lead our team in delivering expert nursing services to children and young people with cardiac conditions across South & Mid Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading the team to provide specialist treatments, delivering educational programmes to healthcare professionals, and managing the cardiology CNS team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Main Duties
  • Coordinate and lead the cardiology CNS team to deliver expert nursing services to families referred to the Cardiology service.
  • Manage the cardiology CNS team and attend MDTs, clinics, ward rounds.
  • Establish positive relationships within child health and provide support to children and young people with cardiac conditions.
Person Specification
  • NMC current registration.
  • Significant experience as a Band 6 Cardiology CNS.
  • Teaching qualification.
