Paediatric Cardiology CNS Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Cardiology CNS Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Paediatric Cardiology CNS team and providing expert nursing services to families referred to the Cardiology service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Paediatric Cardiology CNS team and provide expert nursing services to families referred to the Cardiology service.
  • Develop and implement specialist treatments across the disease spectrum for patients within a specific group.
  • Deliver specialist educational programmes to a range of healthcare professionals in relation to the specific disease, including medical, nursing and Allied Health Professional staff.
  • Manage the cardiology CNS team and attend MDTs, clinics, ward rounds and liaise with all areas within child health to establish positive relationships.
Requirements:
  • NMC current registration
  • Significant Experience Band 6 Cardiology CNS experience
  • Teaching qualification
