Clinical Lead for Paediatric Persistent Pain Service

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced allied health professional to lead our paediatric persistent pain service. The successful applicant will work closely with the lead clinical psychologist and consultant to develop and deliver a value-based model of care for children and young people with persistent pain and their families across Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team developing and delivering a persistent pain service that supports children and young people across Wales.
- Lead a dynamic multi-professional team that will include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and clinical nurse specialists, providing education and support across Wales.
- Work closely with the Strategic Lead and psychologist to deliver a value-based model of care for children and young people with persistent pain and their families.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways for the treatment of persistent pain in children and young people.
- Collaborate with peers across Wales to enhance the offer and develop new services.
- Degree or equivalent in a therapy profession.
- HCPC registration.
- Relevant CPD.
- MSc or relevant higher-level qualification.
- Significant post-reg experience at a senior level in a therapy profession.
- Providing clinical supervision.
- Leading a clinical team.
- Participation in planning and developing services.
- Presentation to a wide range of audiences.
